Proof that San Pedro once had its own city hall. Buried for 100 years, uncovered during construction

Construction workers found a large granite block with "City Hall 1907" written on it at a North Gaffey residential development. According Anne Hansford of the San Pedro Bay Historical Society, the date is consistent with the original San Pedro City Hall which was built in 1907. "Its been buried for over 100 years and I'm amazed in what good condition most of it is."
