Mary Star High Girls Volleyball Gets Six All-SFL Selections

The Mary Star High girls volleyball team got their just rewards this past Saturday with six selections to the 2014 All-Santa Fe League team after claiming a share of the league crown with St. Genevieve of Panorama City.

Four of the Stars were chosen first team all-league, paced by reigning News Pilot Prep Girls Volleyball Co-Player Of The Year sophomore outside hitter Ally Spillane. Joining her on first team is senior libero Hope Marinkovich, senior opposite hitter Evelyn Pronovost and sophomore setter Angela Pisano.

Second-team selections are sophomore outside hitter Lexi Andrie and sophomore middle blocker Kaitlyn Martinez.

Also in the CIF-Los Angeles City Section, Port Of Los Angeles High girls volleyball senior outside hitter/setter Kellen McMurry was named All-City second team in Division IV.
