It's tragic this happened. Thank goodness no one was injured or worse. This happened quickly, and the sooner it is learned why, the better. We should all be concerned for those with homes nearby. Many times I have walked along that stretch of coastline, and I'll miss it. More Sunken City.

My beautiful Paseo Del Mar, hasn't changed from the mid 50's when we all cruised there and even played 'chicken' like in 'Rebel Without a Cause.' What a magnificent stretch of road...
