POLAHS Boys Soccer Does Just Enough To Advance To Semis

The Port Of Los Angeles High boys soccer team was able to get two goals in the first half from senior forward C.J. Kane and sophomore forward Justin Moran, and do just enough on defense to thwart visiting Central City Value of Los Angeles in a 2-0 victory at Daniels Field.

By virtue of their CIF-Los Angeles City Section Division III quarterfinal victory, the Polar Bears advance to their very first semifinal game on Friday, against an opponent to be determined.

Senior goalkeeper Anthony Sandoval got seven saves to earn the shutout for POLA (13-3-5 overall).
