Kenny Potter Bides His Time, Makes His Move, Then Drives For The Win!
With little time left to spare and a tied score, San Pedro High boys basketball guard Kenny Potter was given the chance to deliver with the game on the line. Just like his magnificent 2011 football season, he would mightily deliver. Potter would use some time, then would blow by his man before driving to make this double-clutch layup with 2.3 seconds left and three defenders around him, giving the Pirates a dramatic 60-58 win over Wilson of Los Angeles in a Pirate Shootout Tournament quarterfinal from Wednesday, December 28, 2011.
