Mary Star High Softball Gets First Win Of 2011 Season
The Mary Star Of The Sea High softball team would earn its first victory of the 2011 season by edging Port Of Los Angeles High, 3-1 at Bloch Field in San Pedro after pitcher Veronica Webb struck out the last batter. Mariah Marquez's three-run homer in the fourth inning was the difference in the game in lifting the Stars to victory on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.
