Port Of Los Angeles High Softball 2012 Repeats As CIF-LACS Champions!
The Port Of Los Angeles High softball team defeats Harbor Teacher Prep of Wilmington, 6-0 to win the 2012 CIF-Los Angeles City Section Small Schools Division Championship at UCLA on Wednesday, May 30. Nicolle Miranda hurled a two-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts while going 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs for the Polar Bears, while Brianna Grayson went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI with two runs scored. Here's the final at-bat of the game as POLA successfully defends the title they won last season with Miranda's last strikeout, and the celebration that followed.
