Event Description

Join the hundreds of brave ghouls and souls who have made GSPO's Halloween Fright Night concert an annual tradition!  On Saturday, October 29 at 8 pm, the Warner Grand Theatre will come alive with a chilling program, conducted by our own Maestro-Steven Allen Fox - featuring Phantasia, a fantasy based on The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Prelude, Opus 666, a collection of music from horror favorites including Psycho, Nightmare on Elm Street and Sweeney Todd (arranged by GSPO Music Director Victor Pesavento), music from True Blood by Nathan Barr & Gary Calamar and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain.

GSPO is thrilled to welcome Lisbeth Scott, the original soundtrack vocalist for True Blood, to the Warner Grand Theatre.  One of the most recognized voices in Hollywood, Ms. Scott has performed on the soundtracks to Avatar, Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Iron Man 2, among many others.  Composer Austin Wintory will also join Ms. Scott on the stage to conduct an original work titled Boxes of Earth, composed for her and based on some of their previous collaborations.Golden State Pops Orchestra
