WHAT: Councilman Joe Buscaino will join iStar Financial and local San Pedro leaders to break ground on Ponte Vista, a long-awaited housing development in San Pedro. The new development will transform the long-blighted property into a vibrant community of 676 new single-family homes, town homes and condominiums, a 2.4 acre publicly-accessible park, hiking and bicycle trails and more than 3,000 new trees.
