PressFriends are middle and high school students who mentor elementary students and help them publish in school or program newspapers sponsored by PressFriends.

PressFriends student volunteers come from San Pedro High, Dodson Intermediate, Wilmington High, Peninsula High, PV High, Chadwick, Mira Costa, Vistamar, Miraleste Intermediate, Ridgecrest Intermediate and Palos Verdes Intermediate.
