Bands Wanted for 23rd annual Taste in San Pedro

The 23rd Annual “Taste in San Pedro at the Port of Los Angeles”

 



The 23rd Taste will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 5th, 6th and 7th, on the Waterfront
at the Port of Los Angeles. The venue will offer panoramic harbor and ocean views, and will be an ideal setting for two main stages of continuous musical entertainment, delectable food, beer and wine booths, a children’s area, and some of the best artisans and crafters in the South Bay. This year "Taste" will continue to showcase the work of local artists.

All bands wishing to apply to perform at the Taste in San Pedro MUST submit an application of interest.

Complete THIS application and return to the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce by 5:00 pm Friday, May 13, 2011.

All Applications must include a music sample. Late or incomplete applications will not be processed.

Stage Time and Compensation
All bands playing at the 23rd Annual Taste in San Pedro will perform their set for approximately 60-70 minutes without a break. If chosen, bands will be given a certain day and time in which they are to perform. Bands must be available for Friday, August 5th during the hours of 6 -10 pm, and August 6th during the hours of noon to 9 pm, and August 7th during the hours on noon to 7 pm. A payment of $300 will be paid for each performance. Please note this payment is non-negotiable. Bands will also have access to a booth to promote their band/gigs and sell CD’s or other band promotional items during their performance.

PLEASE NOTE: The Taste in San Pedro is a family-oriented event and as such, song lyrics cannot contain any offensive material. Failure to comply with this policy could result in immediate cancellation of the set and forfeiture of payment.
