Most of us have been very supportive of Crafted, and do want to see it thrive.
Many new craft vendors have come on board and more sign up often.
But I am also aware of a turnover coming starting at the end of November. Actually, many changes have already started. Some of our favorites will be leaving and sadly, before the holiday shopping is in full swing. I'm hearing the guess of close to 20 shops have or will be closed soon.
Personally, I do not know why the first 6 month contracts couldn't have started when Crafted OPENED in June, not the minute the vendors showed up to paint their spaces, most in May.
Now in order to stay through December, they have to renew the 6 month lease. IF they could opt for a one month stay, and I have NO idea if they would be allowed to do that, I can't imagine it would be for the normal monthly rate!
So, if you love a crafter/vendor at Crafted, I would suggest you go down and find out what their plans are, and if needed, get their business card, email, website, Etsy page, or Face Book page.
Hopefully, they will have exciting new opportunities, and I know of one who is VERY busy making plans; and maybe they will join us on the San Pedro Crafters page on FaceBook, and join us in our quest to find local, affordable, and fun, craft shows and other venues....
