We need to continue alerting/educating our Sr Citizens!

Re-posting an alert from our Councilman Joe on Facebook this afternoon:

"ALERT: single senior woman answered her front door around 4:00PM Friday afternoon on Montereina Dr. and a man told her that her neighbor was doing landscaping work and he needed access to her back yard. While she took him around the side of her house, an accomplice entered the unlocked front door and stole jewelry items from her bedroom. The accomplice was never seen, but the homeowner noticed the open drawers when she re-entered the house. The man she spoke to was a hispanic in his 20's. Height approximately 5'8", dressed in dark clothing with a dark jacket. He had a goatee and light colored eyes. No tattoos or piercings were noted and the vehicle was not visible. If anyone has any information regarding this person, please contact the Sheriff immediately."
