"On Tuesday, a motorist was pulled over by what appeared to be an L.A. County sheriff's deputy on a motorcycle in Lawndale. He had flashing red-and-blue lights and wore a tan shirt and green pants.
But it turns out the deputy wasn't the real deal, and now authorities are looking for someone impersonating an officer.
The man, described as a white man between 35 and 40, pulled over a motorist near the intersection of 147th Street and Inglewood Avenue.
Although he had most of his uniform together, the badge didn't look right to the motorist."
