Quagga (Zebra) Mussels big problem for waterways & pipes

Believed to have first appeared on a ship in the Great lakes, these little pests have made their way to the oceans. They can clog water pipes and impede flow of our water supply! Please check your boats!

City of Los Angeles changing street lights to LED's saving sixty percent in energy costs

One hundred and forty thousand street lights in the City of Los Angeles are currently being switched from low-pressure sodium to LED lights. Over eight thousand lights have already been upgraded in the 15th District.
