Los Angeles City Firefighters put out a fire at a Single family home on 2nd St. and Hanford in San Pedro, Ca. According to Chief Chris Logan, one person and three pets were in the home when the call came in at 9:19pm on Dec. 6, 2011. The fire was extinguished in thirty-four minutes and nobody was injured.

San Pedro has it's own little piece of the Occupy movement, the group Occupy San Pedro. They have already held three demonstrations at local banks.
