Beloved San Pedro Landmark - Gaffey Street Bridge - Closes Monday for 60 days

Starting Monday the Gaffey Street Bridge will be closed for renovation for 60 days, according to Councilwoman Janice Hahn and the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce.

In Memoriam: Joan Marie Wainwright, Dec.11, 1929, to July 3, 2023

Joan Marie Wainwright died peacefully on July 3, 2023, just after sunrise surrounded by her family. In the weeks prior to her death, she acknowledged that her only remaining ailment was old age, having battled chronic pain for most of her adult life.
