Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s “Meet the Grunion” Hottest Ticket in Town

The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium was definitely THE place to be last night as locals and folks from all over the southland flocked to the beach in droves to witness the annual Grunion Run and take part in the Aquarium’s popular “Meet the Grunion” event. Dramatic Helicopter Rescue at Pt. Fermin

I just wanted to say what a well coordinated effort the Fire Dept, Police & Harbor Police made today when they rescued a woman who slipped and fell off the trail at Pt. Fermin. Hopefully she is going to be alright. Great job to all involved!

My Barbershop

After 45 years in business at the same location on 25th St. and Western Ave. in San Pedro, Henry at Harbor Village Barbers wondered where all his business had gone. Down to one chair with a second barber coming in a couple of days a week, the shop's business was in a downward spiral.

Even though I am not an official resident of San Pedro. I've been working in this city for 4 years. Are any of you familiar with the San Pedro haunting of Jackie Hernandez? 1989-1993. It has appeared on numerous t.v. Shows like syfy channel. Biography and it's own documentary called AN UNKNOWN ENCOUNTER. Plus the book of the same name both by Barry Conrad.
