If you're seeking employment, and you're not already on LinkedIn, www.linkedin.com , I suggest you create a profile right away. I just checked in and there were nearly a dozen jobs posted within my groups/connections, and many were in the Torrance/Santa Monica/Los Angeles area.

At the least, you can follow groups, find out what employment/staffing companies are available, and job/skill trends.
