Recently we have had a serious trend of Burglary for Motor Vehicles in the area of Bynner and Western. Unfortunately these are the kind of thefts where our Lock it or Lose it program is not as effective. My neighbor had a visitor over the weekend, who left his car unlocked. With his laptop and check book in sight. Needless to say it only took a couple of minutes for someone to come by and take them. 30 minutes later the thief was already attempting to cash one of his checks for a hefty amount!
